The Sheraton Chicago Northbrook is a lifestyle hotel product bringing an elegant urban hotel brand to a sophisticated suburban market. The hotel caters to area business travelers and visiting families, while also offering elegant weekend getaways. The Sheraton Chicago Northbrook Hotel opened in October of 2008. 

Located at the intersection of Waukegan Road and Willow Road directly across from Kraft World Headquarters, the hotel parcel is situated within a lifestyle shopping center that includes an attractive mix of retail and restaurants. The Sheraton facilities include: a fitness center, a pool and whirlpool; and a restaurant space where guests can also enjoy a comfortable lounge environment. The hotel also features dedicated meeting space with the availability of a high-tech boardroom.

Project Description

The Fremont Hotel Chicago will be located immediately southwest of the intersection of North Avenue and Clybourn Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. It is in a very desirable area of rapidly growing retail, entertainment and high value residential neighbors. 

The 167 room property will be appointed with innovative architecture, warm, inviting design and upscale boutique style touches. The property will feature an engaging restaurant, comfortable lounge and state of the art fitness center. Approximately 3,000 square feet of well appointed high-tech meeting space will round out the very flexible offering.

The Fremont hotel will differentiate itself from existing hotels through both product and location. Located a city block from the corner of Sheffield and North Avenues, The Fremont is a short distance to several of Chicago’s hottest neighborhoods for shopping, dining and entertainment. Traveling west on North Avenue from The Fremont guests can easily access the trendy Bucktown/Wicker Park area where boutique shopping and edgy nightlife spots thrive. Traveling east on North Avenue is the heart of Old Town and North Avenue Beach. Just North of The Fremont on Sheffield is Armitage Avenue, another boutique shopping area for Chicagoans in the know, filled with restaurants and nightlife.  

The hotel is also adjacent to Wrigley Corporation’s Global Research and Development facility along with three other Wrigley corporate offices.  Additionally, the hotel is located in close proximity to the 8 million square feet of office space located outside of Chicago’s Central Business District that is currently underserved.

Project Description 

Salita Development and its partners acquired a fully entitled hotel site at the intersection of 37th Street and 8th Avenue in New York City.  The site calls for 200 room select service franchised hotel. The franchise agreement is currently under negotiation with a major flag.  Salita and its partners entered in to a joint venture with the Stonebridge Companies to lead and manage the development.
